Here I'll explain how to strengthen and evolve your wooparoo, and explain what rare wooparoo are.
1. Strengthening wooparoo
1. Strengthening wooparoo
2. Evolving wooparoo
Select your other max level wooparoo as the evolving ingredient, and pay the required amount of gems to evolve it.
NOTE: You can't use a higher star wooparoo to evolve a lower star one, or vice versa. They have to be the exact same tier. So I can't use a 6-star squid man to evolve my 5-star one. NOTE 2: The first time you evolve a particular wooparoo, you get an achievement and gems. The amount you get is more than what you paid to evolve it. |
Ta-da! The two 5-star squid men have become a single 6-star squid man at level 1. Now he needs to be leveled up.. A higher tier wooparoo always has higher health, attack, and usually defense than a lower tier version of equal level. Depending on the creature, it may also have additional abilities as well, and the abilities it already had before are usually higher level. See the Wooparoo Database. |
3. Random Evolve
With a more recent patch, you CAN evolve a wooparoo using a different one, but the result will be a a random wooparoo that is one star higher. So in this case, I could evolve my 7-star Staby
(tier 2), using a 7-star Pengi (tier 2) or 7-star Death Nine (tier 1), since they are both max level. The end result could be an 8-star Staby, or it could be something completely different that's 8 stars. IMPORTANT: The addition of this feature is really good. Whether you spend real cash or not, you'll find that you have some units that just aren't that useful. Well, this feature gives you an incentive to keep them instead of selling them. Max out those unwanted wooparoo and combine them to see if you get something better. In theory you will eventually get something good. Here's what I mean: 7-star + 7-star = random 8-star (not good? then...) 8-star + 8-star = random 9-star (still not good? then..) 9-star + 9-star = random 10-star There are only a handful of wooparoo that reach 10 stars currently, and they are all useful/coveted. So even if your evolutions don't yield good results, if you keep maxing and combining them, you will eventually not only get a highly desired wooparoo, but one that is tier 4. The only snag is the time it'll take to max those wooparoo out. (9-star wooparoo max at level 50, oof..) |
4. Rare wooparoo
Sometimes when you purchase a wooparoo from the Summon option on the main Map, you will receive a rare version of a wooparoo (indicated by a small orange gem on the lower left of the portrait. Everything about it (max level, abilities, experience required) is exactly the same as a common version, aside from one thing.
Apparently, there are even Super-rare wooparoo that have a pink gem next to them, but I haven't acquired any myself, so I don't know how different they are (probably just higher stats).
