Maps & Menus Guide
1. Exp bar
Shows your current level and how close you are to leveling up. Experience is won by completing stages or winning battles in Vs. mode. Experience points you get are indicated by the green clover icon (explained in How to Battle).
2. Charge Balls
You need two charge balls to play a stage. You replenish one charge ball every five minutes, unless you have more than 20. Leveling up replenishes your charge balls. Charge balls you get from friends or the shop can let you exceed 20 balls, but they won't start replenishing until you're below 20 again.
3. Mana balls
These are basically your currency for strengthening wooparoo. When you give food to your wooparoo to make them stronger, you have to pay the required amount of mana balls first. At first you'll have more than enough, but as you level up your wooparoo, the cost to give them food gets higher and higher (explained more in How to Raise Wooparoo).
4. Gems
Very important. They have several purposes.
- Purchase B, A, or S level wooparoo from the "Drawing" option.
- Used as currency when evolving wooparoo.
- Do the after-battle roulette again after the completion of a stage.
- Buy a boost item before attempting a stage.
- Increase the amount of wooparoo/food slots in your Storage menu.
5. Options
7. Achievements
1. Story:
You get these by reaching certain levels, collecting a certain number of wooparoo, among other things.
2. Wooparoo
You get these by leveling up wooparoo to level 2, getting a wooparoo to max level, evolving a wooparoo, etc.
3. Vs.
You get these by playing or winning a certain number of Vs. battles, ranking up in Vs. mode, etc.
4. Social. You get these by inviting people, sending friends stuff, receiving stuff from friends, etc.
I wouldn't worry about any of these, but just collect any achievement rewards you happen to earn as you play the game. If you have a question about what one of them is you can contact me.

8. Events
You can see all the events going on in the game right now. I'll try to provide information on any events I can understand or think are relevant. It seems they make you sign up for the Naver Café to see some of the events now. If you need help you can ask me about it.
9. Fan Café
I believe this is the Naver Café, so it has a bunch of forum posts by people who want to discuss the game. I never go here.
10. Friends
1. My friends
2. Ranking: You can see how you compare to your friends according to stage reached or by level.
3. Find and add some friends that the game recommends to you.
4. Invite Kakao friends: You can get random rewards by doing this (charge balls, mana balls, gems, C/B cards)
5. First button here lets you see what gifts friends have sent you today. Second button lets you delete friends.
6. Someone wants to add you as a friend. How exciting! Select yes or no.
7. The red 친선 button lets you challenge their wooparoo team. To the right of that, you can send friends a daily gift (one per person):
If you tap a friend's portrait, you will see this screen:

- hearts (aka friendship points, explained later, 20 per day),
- charge balls (10 per day)
- gems (3 per day).
If you tap a friend's portrait, you will see this screen:
1. Send Message: Send a small message to a friend. It will appear in their Mailbox.
2. Battle: Challenge your friend's wooparoo team, just as you can do from the main friend menu.
3. View Team: Check your friend's team. Good idea.
4. View Album: See all the wooparoo your friend has collected.

11. Vs. Mode
Vs. mode lets you challenge other people's wooparoo teams of similar rank. Instead of charge balls, you use purple balls I call Vs. balls. If you win more than one battle in a row, your roulette rewards get better, up to 9-in-a-row. Then it resets. For example, one of the rewards for your first battle might be a +100 exp food. The reward after winning several battles in a row might be a +1000 exp food. After winning 9, your streak would reset and you would see the +100 exp food again (roulette rewards are explained in How to Battle). However, after a recent update, the rewards appear to get better as you get higher in rank. Anyways, the more you win, the higher your rank will be and the more challenging your opponents will be. There are pros and cons to doing Vs. mode as opposed to doing regular stages.
Pros:
However, with the addition of Vs. balls, there is generally no drawback to playing Vs. mode, and is a good alternative if you're out of charge balls. If you play a lot, you might as well do regular stages and Vs. mode.
Anyways, onto the Vs. mode screen.

Pros:
- Doing lots of Vs. battles will net you achievements that reward you with gems.
- By increasing your rank, you can get some gems at the end of the week as reward (see picture 3 below).
- If you're still in the earlier worlds, the roulette rewards could be decent by comparison.
- The default exp and mana balls you get from Vs. mode is meager in comparison to what you get from regular stages, typically.
- If you are in the later worlds (like 5+), the roulette rewards in Vs. mode usually don't compare, except maybe at the 8 or 9 win streak.

1. When you enter Vs. mode, you will automatically be set up in a match against a random person's team, depending on your own rank.
2. Here you can see the top rankers in the game starting with number 1, although I'd advise against it unless you want to see how ridiculous some people's teams are. It can give you ideas on what types of wooparoo are considered useful though.

4. You can see your current rank as well as the total Vs. points you've earned.
5. Tap this to start the battle. It uses two of those purple Vs. balls now.
6. Tap this to find another opponent to face within your point range. It's a good idea to try and find people you think you can win against.

12. Storage
1. Wooparoo Storage: You can see all the wooparoo you own here.
2. Wooparoo Album: See Wooparoo Database for info on all the wooparoo in the game.
3. Tap the "!" button or anywhere on the portrait to see information/stats on that wooparoo, or to sell it (see below).
4. Rearrange your wooparoo.
5. This shows how many slots you have for holding wooparoo/food. At first you start with 30 slots, but if you tap "+", you can spend 30 gems to increase your maximum slots by 5. You can keep doing this as many times as you like.
6. Strengthen or evolve your wooparoo. Explained in How to Raise Wooparoo.

If you tap on a wooparoo's portrait, you'll see something like this. Most stats are self-explanatory. Most wooparoo have no resistances (offense/healing wooparoo), but defense wooparoo have resistances to things like stun or knockback. The "# you can summon" is how many of a particular wooparoo you can summon per battle (does not apply to summon gauge battles).
Selling unneeded wooparoo is a great way to clear up space and earn yourself some extra mana balls. You can also see what abilities your wooparoo has and its max level. There is even some history on the creature, but it's all in Korean, of course.

This third tab, which was added with an update, allows you to sell your food instead of using them, which is great since sometimes they are not worth the cost of using, especially if you're low on mana balls.
Just tap as many as you want to sell, and then hit the "먹어팔기" button at the bottom to see how many mana balls you'd get for them. Then select either No (아니오) or Yes (예). |
13. Drawing
Here you can acquire, or "draw", a random wooparoo by paying gems or mana balls. S, A, and B-class wooparoo take gems, while C-class wooparoo take mana balls.

14. Mailbox
1. Charge/Vs. Balls: Collect any charge balls or Vs. balls given to you by friends or the game.
2. Gifts: Gifts can include friend points, mana balls, gems, cards, excess wooparoo, or food items. Gems you purchase from the shop go here. If your storage is full, wooparoo or food items you get will go here. Basically I'd claim everything you see in this tab. However, if there is a wooparoo here that you don't want in your storage for now, you can let it sit here. However, there is a 30 day time limit, so be careful.
3. Items: I believe the only items currently are the exp boost items you can buy from the shop or from the Gift from God.
4. Messages: Any private messages sent to you by your friends go here. The only option in this menu is to view or delete the message.

15. Shop
The shop is pretty self-explanatory. In the Gem Shop you can purchase Gems for cash, but you don't start getting any bonus gems until you purchase 30,000 won's worth or more.
In the Gem Exchange, you can trade your gems for Exp boost items (+50% exp roughly), charge balls, or mana balls. The only one that really needs translating is the Exp boost items, shown in the picture above. The six options are increased exp for: 1 hour, 3 hours, 7 hours, 1 day, 3 days, or 7 days.
As for the others, I sometimes purchase the 30 charge balls when there's the event that gives 60 charge balls for your purchase instead. As for the mana balls, the exchange rate for mana balls is ridiculously bad, so I advise against it. 100 gems for 10,000 mana balls? Are you out of your mind? You get plenty of mana balls just from completing stages.
